Located in the heart of the historic Cherokee Triangle neighborhood, this modern Victorian home is sure to make for a memorable Louisville experience. Built is 1897 but completely renovated in 2019, this home maintains its historic charm while offering modern luxuries. Complete with floor to ceiling windows, GE Cafe appliances, soaking tub in the master suite and many more. Walk to 30 restaurants, shops, bars, and a 500 acre park. This house consist of a four bedrooms, 3 baths, a formal living room, family room, dining room and kitchen, and screened in back porch with a smart TV. There is a patio and a half court basketball court. You will have access to the entire house. The home stands just steps away from some of Louisville’s most eclectic and iconic attractions. Dubbed “Restaurant Row” and voted “Louisville’s Greatest Street”, Bardstown Road offers plenty to explore during your stay, no car necessary. The Highlands is extremely walkable and bike friendly with over 30 restaurants, coffeeshops, bookstores, breweries, and endless locally-owned places to find new treasures. As an anchor of the Park District, you will be situated between the rolling hills of two famous Louisville parks. Fredrick Olmsted, you might know his work from New York’s Central Park, designed the 400+ acre Cherokee Park which is home to boundless bike and walking/running trails, vast green spaces to explore, as well as creeks and waterways. Mr. Olmsted's firm also designed Tyler Park which is equipped with a newly designed playground and splash pad along with public tennis courts. The Highlands neighborhood borders downtown Louisville where you can see shows and sporting events at our various stadiums and theatres, walk along the river front or the pedestrian bridge to Indiana, or travel down Bourbon Row and take a short turn to 4th Street Live!
