Acorn Acres is a tranquil lake front home that is just right for the whole family. With 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and many family friendly amenities available to ensure that everyone will have a wonderful time. If you desire relaxation, outdoors, or a private peaceful place for the whole family to gather together, this home is a great fit. Create many fabulous memories with your family and friends in the amazing home of Acorn Acres on the beautiful and serene Spooner Lake. Acorn Acres is a well love family home. It is set up as cabin and gathering place for families and friends with plenty of toys, games, and space for enjoying the nature and the lake. Bedrooms are are designed to be cozy and comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and we try to keep a variety of spices available too. The outside is heavily wooded with lots of wild animals and the lake is well stocked for fishing. There is some marsh land on the property, but the yard is treated monthly for pesty bugs so you can enjoy being outside. Guests have access to the entire home and garage, with the exception of the unfinished storage areas and a shed. There is a large covered patio and deck space, plus a very large yard with a fire pit. Acorn Acres has over 11 acres of wooded nature to explore with over 700 ft of shoreline (some is heavily wooded) on the peaceful Spooner Lake. We are available though phone, text, AirBnB messages, and email. We will check in to make sure everything is going well. There are some neighbors across the road and across the lake. You may hear occasional dogs or boats on the lake, but it’s fairly quiet. There is very minimal noise from vehicles on the county road. It is fairly private, but some noise may travel from across the lake. Mainly the wind in the trees, birds, and crickets will be what you hear. Vehicles are a must as the city of Spooner is 5-10 mins away. It has all the basics needed (groceries, gas stations, antique stores, restaurants, etc). If looking for larger stores (like Walmart) travel about 30 mins. ** Highly recommend 4 wheel drive or AWD in the winter. It is very rural. Entry to the driveway is fairly flat and our snow removal service is wonderful, but local roads may or may not be plowed well. We have one interior garage parking spot (with a garage door opener provided) and room for about 4 vehicles outside. Guests need to read the information provided in the welcome book before docking their boat - There are 2 public access boat launches, one of them is roughly 1 mile away from the property - The area off the dock is swimmable, but weedy. There are some islands southeast of the property with sandy bottoms that are great for swimming
