Welcome to our private lakefront cottage, located on a spacious lot with plenty of room to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors. The property offers a large yard, bonfire area, hot tub, spacious deck with patio furniture, BBQ, electric car charger, and beautiful natural surroundings. Inside, the cottage is cozy, open-concept, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen features a large island with power outlets and bar seating, along with all the essentials for preparing meals during your visit. The dining area includes a large table with 6 chairs, with room for up to 8. Additional chairs can be found in the sunroom if needed. The living room is a comfortable gathering space with a sectional couch, wood stove, 65" 4K Smart TV with Netflix, a PlayStation 5, and plenty of space to relax after a day by the water.The sunroom offers a peaceful place to lounge and take in the surrounding views of nature and the water. The cottage has a water filtration system, and the water is suitable for showering, cleaning, and general use. However, we recommend that guests bring bottled water or water jugs for drinking and cooking. A water cooler is provided at the cottage that guests can use with water jugs. There is also a 32' trailer on the property that can be used for additional sleeping space. Please note that the fourth bedroom is located in the trailer, not inside the cottage, so we ask that you let us know in advance if your group will need access to it. The trailer includes: 1 private queen bedroom 2 bunk beds 1 pull-out bed Power and A/C The trailer does not have plumbing or running water, so guests using it will need to use the cottage for bathrooms, showers, and water access. Trailer access is an additional $50 per night to help cover extra utilities and cleaning. We do not rent the trailer separately, and it will not be rented to another group during your stay. All bookings are for the entire property, reserved privately for your group only. If your group does not need the extra sleeping space, the trailer simply remains closed. To access the water, guests will go down a long, steep staircase with 91 steps leading to the dock. The view and lake access are absolutely worth it, but this is something to keep in mind when booking to make sure the property is a good fit for everyone in your group. At the bottom of the stairs, you’ll find the dock area along with floaties, noodles, kayaks, a canoe, fishing gear, and other items to enjoy by the lake. Please note that the cottage is located in a bay. The water near the dock is deep enough for swimming, but the bay is fairly shallow overall. As the summer progresses, seaweed does begin to grow in this area, so we ask guests to keep this in mind when booking. You are welcome to take the floaties, kayaks, canoe, and other water items out of the bay into clearer, deeper water. It is only a short and easy paddle from the dock, and many guests enjoy heading just outside the bay for swimming and floating. We also have a strict no-noise policy after 10:00 PM. We want guests to enjoy their stay, but we also want to make sure our neighbours are able to enjoy their properties peacefully. We ask that all outdoor noise, music, and gatherings be kept quiet after 10:00 PM. This is a great spot for families and groups looking for a private cottage getaway with plenty of space to relax, gather, and enjoy time by the water. Other things to note - Firewood and propane are not always provided. At times there may be some left over from previous guests, but this is not guaranteed. We're happy to give you recommendations on where to pick up firewood and refill the propane tanks! Propane tanks will be there, but they may require refilling.
