Description

Cozy cottage in traditional style from 1970. The cabin is located in the middle of Tjønnbakkveien, between the toll gate and Rondane National Park. Quiet and private. There is a beautiful view from the cabin into Jotunheimen. There is a summer road all the way to the cabin, and a parking lot. The road is closed in winter, with ski slopes from the gate and all the way into the national park. In winter, there is parking available at Mysusæter for NOK 50 per day. It is a 700 m walk from the gate to the cabin. Snowmobile transport can be rented. Water and electricity. Animals allowed. The space Cozy, private cottage with a cozy living room with open fireplace, small, traditional kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin, three small bedrooms with bunk beds. 7 beds in the bedrooms and 2 extra on the sofa bed in the living room. The bunk beds are old-fashioned and only 190 cm long. Most single beds are 70-75 cm wide, except in the smallest room where the beds are only 65 cm wide. Sofa bed in the living room of 140 cm. Smoking is not allowed. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Guest access The road is open from late May to November Other things to note The cabin is not heated when not in use and in winter you have to heat up the cabin upon arrival. The hot tub is closed during the winter, October-June.
