Hygge Hus in Holstein Switzerland

Welcome to our cozy Hygge Hus in beautiful hilly Holstein Switzerland. Our vacation home is located in the small quiet village of Sasel surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. Many beautiful lakes, swimming areas and bike paths are very close and the pretty towns of Malente, Plön, Eutin or Lütjenburg can be reached in 10-20 minutes by car. It is 20 minutes to the Baltic Sea and you are at the beautiful beaches of Hohwachter Bay. The space The Hygge Hus looks back on a long history and was built around 1930 as a stable. In 2017, the stable then enjoyed a complete core renovation and was comfortably expanded from the inside with a lot of wood. Some original elements of the barn, such as the window and door shutters, were deliberately preserved. For heating and for the hygge feeling, a Swedish stove and plenty of wood are available to you. In addition, you can also use the infrared heaters on the walls in the cold season. The house is 90 m² and consists of two floors. Downstairs it goes from the entrance area to the bathroom with shower and washing machine as well as to the open living room. In the living room, there is a well-equipped kitchenette, the Swedish stove and a dining area next to the sofa corner. From the living room you can go directly out onto the terrace, which borders our garden. You are welcome to share the garden and we will help you with things like a grill, fire pit, hammock or play equipment on request. A wooden staircase leads up to the two bedrooms. Bedroom Luv has a large double bed, a closet and a small desk. In the bedroom Lee, the cozy double bed in the roof gable is accessible via a ladder. Downstairs in the bedroom Lee, everyone who doesn't want to climb will also find a sofa bed. Guest access The vacation home is all yours. It has its own entrance and a terrace that adjoins our garden - which you are welcome to share. You are cordially invited to help yourself to herbs, vegetables and fruit from our garden (depending on the season sometimes more and sometimes less) and can also use the fireplace for a cozy campfire. Other things to note We're thrilled to have small guests. We are happy to provide a crib, high chair, children's dishes and games. In the garden, our little guests will find a large trampoline, a swing and plenty of space to play.
