Welcome to our home! We wanted to share a piece of the joy we've had where you can be right on the edge of the downtown eateries, coffee shops, bars, and shopping as well as feel safe while hugging the edge of a quiet neighborhood. You'll be just a few steps away from the finish line of the Iron Man, St. George Marathon, St. George Arts Festival and so many more festivities, yet just enough space between you and the crowds to feel secluded. The space This home has all the voice and texture you could ever ask for from an 80+ year old dwelling. We kept the the squeaky patchwork of hard wood floors, the built in shelves and butler cabinet, along with the mature pecan and almond tree in the front yard offering their year round shade. The crape myrtle that hugs the sidewall and ancient looking pomegranate tree that looks like it could tell a story or two from its time are nice jewels in the crown of this old girl. We've renovated all the guts and taken out some walls but she still offers that timeless race track for the kids to run around the whole house in one go. The natural light that warms the bedrooms in the morning and dapples the living room floor through the canopy of the trees outside in the late afternoon sure give a special experience in every part of the day. Enjoy a home cooked meal at an heirloom dining room table with pull out leaves on either side if you need the elbow room, or dig through the cupboards in the living room for the deck of cards to play a game with the family. Get gussied up for a night out on the town. We're right on the edge of all the local eateries, bars, coffee shops and eclectic shopping, as well as some renowned art galleries with local artists work on display. We'll give you all the info on the up coming plays going on at the near by live theater stage at the Iconic "Opera House" as well as menus and brochures for all our favorite spots nearby. Guest access You and your family or friends will have access to the house in it's entirety. As well as parking in the back of the house for 2 vehicles. Our driveway is shared, so please be courteous to our neighbors and don't block the drive at any time. There is a paved pad and shop at the back of the property that will be off limits to guests and we thank you in advance for honoring that wish. There is a fully functional BBQ grill on the back porch with cozy fun lighting that you are welcome to use, but our backyard is waiting for its facelift as we dream up the perfect backyard vibe to dress it with. Where our backyard lacks in seating area and entertainment, we believe our surroundings will offset this until we can give it the spice and pizzazz it deserves.
