The space Lovely one bedroom, second floor apartment retreat for one or two people on Gull Lake. We are not set up for infants or babies. This is a spacious, private apartment that is part of our home. It is located in a vibrant summer neighborhood filled with many long-time family-owned summer cabins. You will have access to our sand beach with beach chairs. This is a perfect home-base for all your area adventures. The apartment has its own private entrance with a keyless lock for self check-in, a chair lift, if mobility issues make climbing stairs an issue, air conditioning, washer, dryer, galley style kitchen with all appliances, a spacious bathroom with shower, and one bedroom with a queen sized bed. Vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows lend this apartment a light and airy feel. Wi-fi and tv with basic cable and Netflix is provided. There is parking in a designated spot for one vehicle in our driveway. We do not have room at our dock for a motorboat or for visitors with boats. There are two recreational kayaks available for your use. Feel free to bring your own paddle boards or kayaks. There are plenty of opportunities for a round of golf in the area. And don’t forget your bicycles for riding the nearby Paul Bunyan Trail or a leisurely 3 mile ride to downtown Nisswa on city roads where you will find a multitude of dining and shopping options. There is a grocery store a mile away and Grand View Lodge is right next door and has some public options for dining, golf, and more. We are not affiliated in any way with Grand View Lodge. We live on site and can be found working in the yard, at the beach, or out on the water. We don’t allow pets though we have a friendly dog on premises and our neighbors also have dogs. The privacy and comfort of our neighbors is of the utmost importance to us. That is why we ask that you respect the boundaries of our property, follow our quiet time rule of 10pm-7 am, have no campfires, and contact us immediately if you have any issues or concerns. Because we are next door to a large resort, you will often hear noise and activities from the resort. This is part of living in a fun, busy neighborhood. Despite the proximity to the busy resort, we manage to maintain a pretty tranquil atmosphere on our property and that is how we like it. This location is lovely in the busy summer months but because this is a year-round home, the apartment is also available at all other seasons. In the Fall, after the docks are removed it is especially peaceful. You can then walk the mile long sandy beach looking for agates, enjoy the Fall colors, and the sunsets and sunrises from our beach. Winter offers opportunities to cross country ski on the lake and on nearby ski trails, skate on the public rink in Nisswa or snowmobile and ice fish if you have the right gear. Guest access The apartment is for your private use. You are welcome to swim and sit at our beach and use two recreational kayaks. Other things to note No pets
