Hook, Wine & Sinker Cottage is an island home located on a quiet residential circle community in Cedar Key, Florida. The wrap around deck provides gorgeous sunsets, water views & the sounds of a multitude of birds. All of this tranquility is found in a quiet - quaint neighborhood. Enjoy the kayaks and launch right from the property discovering. Bring your fishing pole and catch a redfish for dinner. Peddle the bikes Dock Street and visit all the shops. The space This home sleeps up to 4 people. The cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed upstairs, accessed by a spiral staircase. On the main level, the living room easily converts into a 2nd bedroom as it has one of the comfiest queen size pull out sofa’s you will find. Also discover a privacy partition separating the living room from the rest of the house and darkening shades for a good night’s sleep. If you enjoy a quick nap in the afternoon, you will love the cushy recliners. The kitchen is equipped with gas range, microwave, dishwasher, tile countertops and everything you'll need for cooking, serving and entertaining. There is a dining room table with seating for six. We have a laundry room for your convenience as well. The large deck areas provide an abundance of outdoor space to enjoy the view Across the lane from Hook, Line & Sinker Cottage is a kayak launch area. From here there are miles of waterways for kayaking and kayaking fishing. A twenty minute paddle from the cottage will have you in the open Gulf. One of a kind property – unique, quaint, comfortable. All the amenities you need for a relaxing visit. Guest access The property is perched on a shell mound with water views & water access, surrounded by majestic Live Oak Trees. There is parking for two regular size vehicles only at Hook, Line & Sinker Cottage. We cannot make exceptions there is simply not room for more. If you are bringing a small boat then there is room for ONE vehicle and ONE small trailer only. Other things to note We are pet friendly and allow one dog to accompany you on your stay with us. The only thing we ask is that you pick up after your pup. Bird watching is likely to include Osprey, Egrets, Pelican, Cardinal, Carolina Chickadee, and many more.
