Mt. Vale Highlands Guest House

Our Guest House offers you a scenic, comfortable and relaxed home base for your visit. Only 4 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 5 miles from downtown Galax, situated in an idyllic, rural location with beautiful vistas. You can access all the area features quickly by car, or you may find you prefer to sit on the porch, enjoy the sunset and watch our Highland cattle graze. Either way, you have your own private space and plenty of parking at Mt. Vale Highlands. The space A pack n' play or cots are available upon request if traveling with children. Food and water bowls are provided for a pet. While pets are welcome please let us know if you’re bringing a pet on your reservation as we have livestock and chickens on property that we will want to be sure are secure. Guests are welcome to use either of our 2 gazebos on site for al fresco relaxing and our farm animals love visitors to greet them at the fence line. You may also enjoy walking through the woods at the back of the property. Other things to note While we are pet friendly, please do not leave pets unattended in the living spaces unless secure in a crate.
