On the farm: Studio with fantastic views

In our guest room you will find everything you need for two or more nights. Our farm is the starting point for wonderful walks, hiking or e-bike tours. But you are also welcome to enjoy the beautiful nature around the farm and just relax here. Our farm is also home to suckler cows with their calves, young cattle, chickens, cats and our dog Chica. The space The guest room is on the second floor of our farmhouse, accessible via the shared staircase. 1-2 people can comfortably spend the night on a high-quality sofa bed. In addition, there is a mattress on a folding bed and, if desired, a cot. Our farm is in a very quiet location, but we live and work here as a family, which can be heard. The house is made of wood and not very well insulated. Our dog barks every now and then, the cows moo. And sometimes we meet friends on the terrace in front of the guest room window in the evening, which hopefully doesn't bother you. You are always invited to join us. Guest access You are free to move around the house as well as in and around the barn. Other things to note We are 5 km from the village and the nearest train station, but you don't have to starve with us: In the kitchen cupboard, in the vegetable field and in our farm kiosk you will find the ingredients for a simple dinner that you can prepare yourself in the studio kitchen. We are happy to spoil you with a breakfast of products from the farm and the region on request. For this we charge CHF 18.00/person (homemade bread, jam, butter, cheese, eggs, cereals, milk, all homemade or regional products). Distance to public transport: Our farm is 5 km uphill from Schüpfheim train station. On request we can pick up our guests from the train station and bring them back there. CHF 10 will be charged per trip to the train station. For additional trips, Fr. 20 will be charged. For those who love hiking and want to enjoy the tranquility of nature, we are a good location. If, on the other hand, someone wants to explore Switzerland by public transport, our location is not ideal. The farm is in a very quiet location, but naturally life on a farm is associated with noises and smells that we unfortunately cannot avoid.
