Hambye is known for its old abbey, which is located just outside the Sienne River. Hambye is a typical place of Normandy with everything you need – a small chateau, shopping, a very good bakery, butcher, pharmacy, post office with ATM, bars, town hall, an elementary school, gas station, weekly market, etc. Everything can be found in the center of the town, which is quickly reached from the house. From Hambye, three larger cities – Granville, Coutances, St. Lo –in are within 30 minutes. The country road D 13 brings you straight and comfortable in 20 minutes to the guarded beach of St. Martin de Brehal. Many other interesting and beautiful places of Normandy are very easy to reach from Hambye. In the house there are two spacious and bright rooms at your disposal (windows to the front to the east and to the rear to the west) each with their own shower room. In the upper room there is a double bed, in the middle room a double bed as well as a day bed that you can use as a third bed in the room if needed. On the ground floor you can prepare your meals in a newly furnished kitchen and look at the dining table into the landscape to the west. You could unfold the sofa in the living area as a sofa bed.
