'Silent Island' apartment is located in the heart of Budapest, in the Palace Districs (Palotanegyed). The apartment is a beautifully renovated flat in a lovely historical palace, situated in a quiet street. The building dating from 1871, was restored last year. Starting from here, you can walk all around the inner city, reach the National Museum, the Great Market Hall (Nagycsarnok), the banks of the Danube, and the Synagogue is also close by. A lot of sights are within walking distance, as are the underground/subway, the tram lines of the Grand Boulevard (Nagykörút), or bycicles for rent (Bubi). Many coffee shops and restaurants offer great gastronomical experiences in the street and its vicinity. The apartment is fully self-catering, opens from the cosy and very quiet inner yard, it is only 7 steps. :) The flat, bright and tastefully organized, consists of a more than 3 meter high large room, open kitchen, and a vaulted bathroom with an atmosphere of its own. Its climate is cool even in the heat of summer but you can use the fan too. On colder days the floor heating is increasing your comfort as well. For your undisturbed rest an extremely comfortable king sized (180x200cm) French bed with matching bedclothes await you. There is also a big wooden table where you can work with quick Wi-Fi if you need to. In the kitchen, cooker, refridgerator, oven, freezer, electric kettle and a full set of dinnerware are at your disposal. In the bathroom you will find washing machine, towels, soap and a hairdryer. The entire apartment is yours, we strive to do everything we can to make our guests feel at home. Should you require anything please do not hesitate to let us know! If you need transport from the airport or the train station we can organize it for you. Feel free to leave your car in a safe parking courtyard 200m far from the flat for cca. 10 EUR/day. House rules: No smoking is allowed in the apartment. We have a very good relationship with our next door neighbours, therefore, we would ask you not to cause any disruption in the building. Please be particularly mindful of this after 10 pm. Pets are not allowed. The apartment is not suitable for accommodating parties and events.
