THE COTTAGE ON THE HILL

Your own little haven of style and tranquility. The Cottage On The Hill is the family home of an interior designer in the beautiful village of Bathford. Surrounded by stunning countryside and right on the edge of Brown's Folly (Avon Widlife Trust Forest) yet only a 10-15 minute drive into the historical city of Bath. Other things to note When we say Cottage On The Hill we mean it! There is free parking on the road below but you will be required to walk up a medium/long steep pedestrian path to access the property. But once you get up there...its worth it! The log burner is fully functioning but if you wish to use we kindly ask guests to provide their own logs which can be purchased at most local garages and supermarkets. Please however do not leave unattended. Children are welcome at the property however please be aware that there are no special childrens safety features and the stairs are 'cottage steep'. Please be advised also that floorboards upstairs are original and have been left for aesthetics untreated. We have had feedback from guests about this so would advise wearing slippers or socks if you feel this could be an issue. The family and myself when we stay however have never found it to be an issue.
