Welcome to our "Ferienwohnung Anno 1926" Our holiday apartment is located in Mertesdorf, the oldest wine village in the Ruwertal, near Trier of the oldest city in Germany. Due to the good bus connections, you can reach the city center of Trier every 30 minutes from the bus stop directly at the apartment. Other things to note Furthermore, there are opportunities for shopping in the neighboring village, which you can also easily reach by bus. In the Ruwer district ( 3 km ) you will find a doctor and pharmacy , as well as Sparkasse and Volksbank. An ice cream cafe is located in the village, about 500 m from the apartment. As for leisure activities, the outdoor swimming pool is located at the entrance ( 1.5 km ), which is open in the summer months from May to early September. The Ruwerradweg also begins at the entrance to the town. An old railway line has been developed into the bike path ( 40 km ) and it leads it through idyllic landscapes over paths and bridges along the Ruwer ( tributary of the Mosel ) to the Hunsrück.
