Delightful Barn with Mezzanine Sleeping area.

Relax in this adorable little Skiber ( Cornish word for barn) in the peaceful village of Tregony which sits on the edge of the Roseland Peninsula giving guests access to quaint Cornish fishing villages, countryside and coastline of outstanding beauty and many historical places to visit. This beautiful little Skiber is set in the grounds behind Lastpenny Cottage. It has its own courtyard and the benefit of off street parking and accommodates 3 people plus 1 childs cot. The space As you enter the Barn the lounge is arranged around the wood burning style fire. With a large comfy sofa and 44 inch freeview TV. This is an ideal area to plan your next days adventure on the Roseland or further afield. WIFI, Board games and a few books are also provided. The fully equipped kitchen area includes dining table, kettle and toaster,microwave, dishwasher, fridge , washing machine and a beautiful traditional Rayburn for cooking. The bathroom is on the ground floor and provides both bath and shower as well as low level toilet and sink. There is a small cupboard under the stairs where you will find an iron, ironing board, clothes airer, beach bag including towels, picnic blanket and bucket and spade. The cushions for the outdoor seating is also stored here. The stairs lead to a bright mezzanine which has been designed with a partition wall giving privacy to two sleeping areas; one with a double bed and the other a single. A cot can be set up for a small child should this be requested. There is hanging space, chest of draws, shelving with storage boxes and both areas have their own separate lighting. Outside, the Skiber has its own pretty courtyard with outdoor seating. The area has some beautiful walks and we have provided a welly rack for muddy boots as well as umbrellas. There is also a boot scraper for those muddy walking boots. The private courtyard is surrounded with plants and trees which leads to the parking area for 1 car. There is a dedicated recycling area and guests are encouraged to recycle as much as possible. The space is one of peace and quiet so if you are just relaxing in the sunny courtyard or lounging inside you will be sure of a pleasant stay. Guest access Guests have sole access to all areas within the Skiber and its courtyard. There is parking for one car or motorbike available right outside the Skiber in a secure off road yard. The yard will be shared with the hosts. There is dedicated bin and recycling for the Skiber. Other things to note The cooking is on the traditional Rayburn and is operated by turning a dial to the required temperature. The heating for the Skiber is on a separate system
