Enjoy chic cabin vibes, just 25min from the twin cities in the suburban small town of Mahtomedi. Our home is the top level of a duplex in a tree-filled, quiet and family-friendly neighborhood. The three season porch doubles as an office with a sit-stand desk. The porch leads into the oversized kitchen, with space for 8 to sit on barstools and 4 more at the kitchen table. The kitchen opens up to the living room and gas fireplace. A wonderful place to gather! The master bedroom enjoys an ensuite bathroom, large dressing area and a private balcony. Around the corner you will find two additional bedrooms, one bedroom has a queen size bed, faces east and gets lovely morning light. The remaining bedroom has a full size over full size bunk bed, faces west and has an in-window air conditioning unit. You will also have access to the lovely backyard and fire pit. You may meet your host in passing as we live in the unit below. *Non-smoking property* Violations of House Rules will result in a charge of up to a $1,000 fee plus damages Guest access Guests have access to the entire upper level of the house. There are stairs within the home to a utility room which is locked by key and not accessible. Other things to note In the summer: the main portion of the house has central air, but it does not travel well to the front east corner of the house. For this reason we have also installed a window air conditioning unit in that corner of the house.
