Sylvan Ray Manzanita is a relaxing 3 level, 3-bedroom + bunk room, 2.5 bath home. Upstairs has 2 large bedrooms, a full bathroom w/ soaking tub & separate shower and a reading nook. The main level has a well-appointed kitchen, dining & living area w/ a queen bedroom, full bathroom & 2nd laundry. Downstairs has a family room w/ a wall-mounted TV, a bunk-bed room & a half bathroom. The main deck offers a BBQ w/ outside deck furniture. Newer and artfully decorated, Sylvan Ray is a gorgeous three level, 2,600 square foot home nestled among Spruce and Pine trees. It is the perfect retreat for those wishing for solitude, but not overly remote. A short 15 minute stroll down the hill puts you at the picturesque beach or in the charming town of Manzanita. Every detail has been carefully crafted to create a relaxing, luxurious feel for your vacation. Enjoy abundant light and an open floor plan with the home's main level being an ideal place for entertaining friends and family. Once in the living room you are welcomed by the temperature-controlled gas fireplace which creates an inviting ambiance and can be seen from the large open kitchen and dining area. Sink into the comfortable living room furnishings while watching movies on the 49-inch, LED flat screen TV. For chefs in your group, the thoroughly equipped gourmet kitchen and large island is a dream come true. This kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and more. The bar seats two and the dining table can seat up to 10. Down the hall from the living room is a large queen bedroom, as well as a full bathroom. There is also a laundry room with a washer, dryer and laundry sink. The main deck off the dining area has a seating chairs and a barbeque. It is a great place to bird watch or just relax in the sun. There is a distant view of the ocean from several vantage points in the house. The upstairs features two large bedrooms. One bedroom has a king bed and a queen bed, a walk-in closet and a private viewing deck. Down the hall, there is an additional bedroom with a queen bed, full size futon and a walk-in closet. The space in between these two bedrooms features a full size click-clack sofa bed and leather rocking recliner. It is a great place to read to little ones in the evenings or to use for an extra sleeping area. There is a full bathroom with a large soaking tub and separate shower. Also, on this floor is an additional laundry area with a washer and dryer. The downstairs features a large, well furnished, family style room equipped with a 50-inch flat screen TV, multiple couches, including a hide-a-bed, and a coffee table. There is a half bath on this lower level, as well as a cozy bunk room for the kids (4 twins). Finally, the lower deck provides an additional outdoor living space. The garage is a great place to hang out and play darts and Foosball table as well as sitting at the bar while enjoying a refreshing drink. In Manzanita, you can shop in the fashionable boutiques or go biking through it's quaint neighborhoods. Nearby there are unique towns (Wheeler, Rockaway Beach, Cannon Beach or Garibaldi) that are worth exploring. The area also offers opportunities for horseback rides on the beach and hikes up to the top of Neahkahnie Mountain. For those interested in water activities, they can go paddle boarding, crabbing, and fishing in Nehalem Bay or surfing at nearby Short Sand Beach. Sylvan Ray is non-smoking and does not allow any pets. While Sylvan Ray Manzanita was previously managed by a local Property Management Company, our family now manages the property.
