Kookaburra Cottage : country living near the sea

Wake up to the sounds of birdsong. This relaxing country residence is set on a tranquil 40 acre hobby farm. It is perfectly positioned (approx half way between Bega and Merimbula), to take advantage of the spectacular Sapphire Coast and majestic Bega Valley countryside. Pristine beaches and unspoiled National Parks and State Forests are the perfect place for you to getaway. So why not go bush walking, swimming, boating, fishing or cycling. The space You have sole access to a very comfortable, spacious modern fully equipped one bedroom house. There is a very large lounge/dining area, a full sized kitchen with servery window to deck. The modern, clean bathroom has a separated toilet, large walk in shower with large vanity and handbasin. There is a front loading washing machine integrated into the bathroom cupboard. The living space opens onto an expansive covered timber deck, complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Guest access You have sole access to a very comfortable, modern fully equipped 1 (one) bedroom house. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed. In addition, here is a double sized sofa bed, with additional bedding for additional guest(s). The cottage boasts a large lounge/dining area and a large full sized kitchen , a modern bathroom with a toilet and walk in shower, with the added bonus of a front loading washing machine. The living space opens onto an expansive covered timber deck, complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture. A great place to sit and look at the wonderful views of the beautiful treed hills and tranquil countryside. Other things to note Discover the ideal adventure landscape and reconnect with nature on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne and an approximately 2.5 (two and a half) hour drive from Canberra. All year round our national parks are natural playgrounds and the lagoons and seas are our wonder-filled aquarium. There are a wide range of beaches to visit including Tathra (~10 mins drive), Merimbula (~10 mins drive), Pambula (~ 15 mins drive) and a bit further to the south is Eden, and to the north Bermagui. You will need your own transport - so having your own vehicle is the very best option for you get around and to see all the area has to offer. If you want quick access to the area then why not book a flight to Merimbula airport (from either Sydney or Melbourne).
