Luxury shepherds hut with countryside views & lake

A self catered, beautifully handcrafted shepherds hut in the splendid Warwickshire countryside - head out for a picturesque walk or sit back and take your pick between the outdoor fire pit or private lake in Primrose Meadow. Nestled in its own private spinney on a family farm, The Deer Leap is surrounded by inspiring scenery, wonderful wildlife and stunning sun set views. Historic Warwick is a short 9 mile drive away and Stratford Upon Avon just 16 miles. The space The Deer Leap is situated in a private spinney of a family farm. It’s cosy and relaxing and has everything you need for a perfect countryside break. As well as a the log burner, the hut has an electric radiator so that during the colder months your guaranteed a warm stay. All cooking utensils are provided, a two ring induction hob, sink with hot water, kettle, toaster and an under counter fridge (no freezer). Washing up soap and sponges are also provided and you’ll find a pop up dish drainer and bin under the sink. We know how important sleep is so in The Deer Leap you’ll find a top quality double Nova mattress & high quality cotton bed linen. In the bathroom you’ll find our super soft bath sheets, hand towels, shower mat, hand soap and hand cream. Toilet roll is also provided. The shower has hot water and good pressure. We all know how the British weather cannot be guaranteed so we’ve provided a bespoke oak pull down table so you can dine inside comfortably whatever the weather. When the sun is shining you’ll find the fire pit/ bbq grill the perfect place to cook, sit back and enjoy the rolling hills and evening sunsets. Their is no TV or WiFi in the hut, however there is good 4G in the area for most phone providers. Guest access Please note- There is no self check in available and check in is between 3pm and 6pm. If you need to arrive later please contact the host directly. On arrival guests will enter via the main farm drive through electric gates before being directed to a private parking spot. During the summer months guests can park right outside the hut and In the winter guests can park in a car parking space. This is about 100 yards from the hut so a trolley will be provided to carry any luggage. Guests have access to their own private Terrace area looking out over open fields with a fire pit if you get chilly and a bbq grill for cooking alfresco. During your stay guests also have access to primrose meadow lake so be sure to look out for our resident geese, dragonflies, deer, carp and much more. The lakeside makes for the perfect spot to take your morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening to watch the sunset. There are many public footpaths and rights of way on the farm and you’ll be able to locate these with the map that is provided upon arrival. Other things to note The Deer Leap Hut is situated on a family farm so please keep speed limits to 5mph at ALL times due to dogs, horses and children. Ample logs, kindling and fire lighters are provided on arrival. However, if you do require more during your stay another bundle will be provided at a charge of £10. Swimming in the lake is strictly forbidden and the hosts will not be held liable for any casualties.
