Idylic stay in the heart of the Charente countryside amidst vineyards and sun flower fields.The gite is beautifully appointed offering comfort and luxury. Breakfast served each morning in the gardens and table dhote is available celebrating the produce of the local area and fresh fruit, vegetables from our kitchen garden.Relax in the spa (seasonal, check for details before you book)or your own private walled garden.A base to explore the area or somewhere to unwind,let this be the perfect place. The space The gite has recently been renovated providing a comfortable and stylish space to stay for 2 people. Offering ample space with a King size bed on the mezzanine level overlooking a lounge area with coffee and tea making facilities, a mini fridge, bottled water. The bathroom has a large shower. Towels and bathrobes are provided. The lounge looks out onto a small patio in the private garden with sun-loungers and parasol for own private use. Guests have the use of a private outdoor spa. Breakfast is served each morning on the terrace or in the kitchen of the main house on a wet day. Tablet d’hote and half board packages can be arranged on request. Picnics and refreshments are also available. All produce is sourced locally and fresh fruit and vegetables from our own kitchen garden and orchard, whenever possible. There are a number of walks through the surrounding woodland and vine yards that guests can enjoy and bikes that can be hired to explore further afield. If its somewhere to simply sit and read a book or relax with a glass of wine there are various spots on the premises to enjoy the beautiful views and watch the sun go down. This is adult only accommodation and Pets are not allowed. Only 25 minutes from Angouleme and just over an hour to Bordeaux. During your stay As the Gite has no kitchen facilities guests can enjoy a 3 course evening meal from our daily table d’hote menu or a light lunch and refreshments on request. Other things to note Just to note, the Gite is only suitable for couples and is not able to accommodate a twin booking. There is also an adult only policy. No pets allowed.
