Spacious 3-room Nørrebro-hygge with great location

Description

Stay in our lovely apartment in one of the best locations in Nørrebro. It takes 10 minutes to get to the city centre, the Metro is 2 minutes walking, and there are tons of great cafés, bars and speciality shops all around. The apartment has 3 rooms, a good kitchen, and a (for Copenhagen) big bathroom. 😀 It would be possible to stay 5 or 6 people as we have a couch, air mattress, a double bed and an extra mattress. We also have a bed for infants. The space We took over the apartment in April 2019, and it was really a mess! We've live abroad for a few years, and our dream was to finally find a space and make it our own. We've been working hard to realise this, putting in a lot of hours and sweat to make it a cozy, functional home for our new family (we became three in July) You walk into a long hallway, which had doors (that close) to every room of the apartment. The kitchen is on the left, after a small utility closet. On the right is a spacious nursery, where we can put an extra bed for you or you can use the kids bed. Next is the big living room, which had a couch, and a dining table too. The giant painting is from my grandfather's home! Finally, you have the bathroom which is big for Copenhagen, and then the master bedroom with walk-in closet. All the rooms have been renovated, but we are still improving things as we go along, so chances are that something has changed already from the last photos. Only for the better, though! We have Philips hue and wireless speakers in most rooms. Other things to note We try to keep our home as sustainable as possible, and we hope you will help us do so! All of the electricity is offset two times over by buying energy from wind and solar, but we still encourage you to be mindful of how much you use! Even though we are theoretically carbon-neutral, it still has a strain on the grid and at peak times energy will come from non-renewables. You may notice that the fridge turns off between 5 pm and 8 pm. This is when the largest percentage of electricity is coming from non-renewable energy sources. Don't worry, it will stay cool enough unless you keep it open for a long time! Here are some things that we encourage you to do: - Please sort your waste into Bio, Glass, Metal, Paper, Cardboard. We are happy to do the recycling when you leave - there are containers in the kitchen. - You are free to use the washing machine and Dish-washer! They both have timers, so if possible, try to use them during the night (1am to 5am). At this time, the highest percentage of electricity in Denmark is coming from renewables! - Keep the heating as low as possible. We don't want you to freeze but think about how much you actually need. It's okay to wear a sweater inside! - Get bikes while you are here. It is really the best way to get around Copenhagen, and the infrastructure and safety is great! Biking is practically the main attraction of Copenhagen. :)
