The loft at LePlatt's Pond, 100 acre ranch & river

Overlooking 100 acres of L-J Ranch and the Pine River Valley, the Loft at LePlatt's promises a truly unforgettable experience. A most unique vacation rental with luxury, and comfort seamlessly melding with ranch activities, a private 10 acre pond and river fishing, gorgeous views, farm animals and wildlife. Frequently reserved for weddings at the LePlatt's Pond venue, but a popular home in between events for all guests visiting the Bayfield and Durango area. The love is in the details! The space The loft studio apartment is the upper level over a garage that is used for storing farm equipment, so while there is some farm & ranch activity, plus an additional home and event venue nearby, there is private outside space in the form of a large deck with seating and BBQ grill. Bed Configuration:
Studio Living Area - 2 Queen Beds and Queen Sleeper Sofa The loft home is designed for comfort, with open floor plan, complete kitchen, one bath, and sleeps up to six people.  Old-fashioned gas range in the kitchen. Electric fireplace and SmartTV in the living area. In front of the home, is a deck with grill, beverage cooler, and outdoor dining set, overlooking the river valley hay and hops fields of the ranch.

Please be aware, that while this home is all on one level, there is one flight of stairs between the parking area and the entrance to the loft. 

The kitchen is complete with a full array of appliances, cooking utensils and dinnerware.  A dining table for six is located in the center of the room, and a nearby nook affords dressing and prep. A three quarter bath with walk-in shower, is located in a corner away from the rest of the suite. Out front, the BBQ deck adds outdoor living space for guests staying at the home. Guest access This home is on a private property known as the L-J Ranch, 100 acres of prime land in the Pine River Valley.   Please be aware that the property owner may be present in the neighboring ranch house. There may also be events taking place at the Pond venue (such as a wedding).  Whether walking or driving on the ranch, it’s a good idea to stay on the country road until nearing the pond and river. There are farm animals on the ranch and wildlife in the area. A detailed map will be provided to show where guests have access.

Consistent with most Colorado homes, the home does not offer air-conditioning. Other things to note Constructed in 1960 and completely remodeled in 2020, with all new decor, furniture and appliances.
