The space Cozy & Spacious 2-Bedroom (Sleep 6 max) Cottage Near Withlacoochee State Forest This property spans two lots, offering plenty of space both inside and out. Please note, the home operates on well water and uses a septic system. To help preserve the longevity of the septic tank, we kindly ask that you avoid flushing inappropriate items down the drain. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated! ALL adult guests must be registered at the time of booking — no unregistered visitors are permitted. So please be prepared to r invite ALL adults to the reservation. The home has a strict maximum occupancy of 6 guests. Additional fees will apply if this rule is not followed. Bedrooms: Master Bedroom: Relax in a King-sized bed. Second Bedroom: A cozy space with (2) twin size beds, perfect for kids or additional guests, with easy access to a full bathroom just down the hall. Additional Sleeping Arrangements: With prior notice, you’re welcome to bring a cot or inflatable mattress for extra sleeping space to accommodate up to possibly 6 guests. It can be set up in the spacious living room area. Please let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to accommodate. Living Spaces: The large, inviting living room offers plenty of space—perfect for family gatherings or unwinding after a day of adventure. The dining room, just off the kitchen, is a great space for meals and conversation. You'll also enjoy the large kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen features a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and a variety of counter appliances, making it easy to prepare your favorite meals during your stay. Step outside, where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors, whether you're sipping coffee or soaking up the sun. Additional Amenities: Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway. (No street parking allowed) Washer & Dryer Use – Please Read Carefully We’re happy to provide a washer and dryer for your use during your stay. To avoid damage and ensure everything runs smoothly, please follow these instructions carefully. ✅ WASHER INSTRUCTIONS Locate the Dispenser Drawer You’ll find the drawer in the washer near back at the top of the machine. Identify the Compartments Inside the drawer, you’ll see labeled sections for: Detergent (HE only) Fabric Softener Liquid Bleach (if needed) Use Only HE (High-Efficiency) Detergent. Regular detergent is not compatible and may cause damage. Pods? Place them directly into the drum before adding clothes — not in the drawer. Avoid overfilling – more detergent is not better. Pour into their designated compartments (never directly into the drum). Close the Dispenser Drawer Fully Before starting the wash, make sure the drawer is closed securely. Handle the Machine Gently Do not slam the lid — close it gently. Do not place any objects on top of the glass lid. Always clear pockets before washing — sharp or hard items can cause serious damage. Do Not Overload Overloading strains the motor and can lead to malfunction. After Use Cover the washer and dryer with the blue tarp provided to protect them. ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE These appliances are provided for your convenience. Please handle with care. If the machines are damaged due to misuse or neglect, we reserve the right to request reimbursement for repair or replacement. If you break it, you buy it. As is common in Florida, guests may occasionally see palmettos ( palmetto bugs often live outdoors in palmetto trees and fly inside, especially when searching for moisture or fleeing rain) or other outdoor insects, particularly during colder weather when they seek warmth indoors. This is a normal environmental occurrence and does not indicate a cleanliness or maintenance issue. The home is professionally cleaned and regularly treated for pests. Guests are expected to keep food sealed, avoid leaving crumbs on counters, and dispose of trash properly to help minimize this possibility.
