The Stable, Shoulder of Mutton, near Hebden Bridge
Description
The Stable is to the rear of the converted 19th century Shoulder of Mutton pub in Midgley which is now our family home. At the foot of the moor and close to Hebden Bridge, it offers a peaceful retreat in stunning countryside. The Stable is a lovely base from which to explore the local area, combining wild moorland beauty with our vibrant valley communities. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere comfortable to crash after a day's walking or evening out with friends and family. The space The Stable has been restored and designed with private entrance leading to a bedroom with under floor heating, king size bed and en suite shower and toilet. Newly decorated and furnished, the guest room is comfortable, fresh and bright. Guest access The Stable is attached to our family home but has its own private access. We have a lovely garden area, with seating areas, which is accessed via steps behind the house. You are welcome to share the use of our garden with our family. We aim to keep the Stable uncluttered. If you require the use of our fridge or iron we are happy to oblige. During your stay We are available to offer any help you may need. We have lived in the area for many years and are very happy to recommend places to visit. We can usually provide a light breakfast (cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast & jam, fresh local eggs or beans) in our large family kitchen if you'd like this. Just let us know when you check in what time roughly you may want this (you can always send us a text in the morning to let us know when you're ready). We appreciate you may just want to be left to your own devices and want you to enjoy your stay so please just let us know what you'd prefer. Other things to note There are 3 cottages round the back of the Shoulder of Mutton. Our neighbours and their dogs use our driveway for access to their homes.
