Description
Dairy Cottage a beautiful, detached, period farmhouse circa 1700's. Dairy Cottage is built of local stone under a slate roof, the house has retained some original features such as inglenook fireplace and exposed timber beams. The house enjoys wonderful views to the front towards its own farmland. Outside to the front of the main house is a walled garden with lawn, roses and shrubs. Free off-road parking. The space The South room consists of a double bed. It suitable for 2 adults + a pet. Guest access Dairy cottage has a reception room where you can relax in front of the inglenook fireplace and a lounge with TV and open fireplace. You are most welcome to use the kitchen to cook meals and there is a garden room with table and chairs where you can have breakfast, etc... Outside, in a converted barn, there is a games/information room with a pool table and washing and drying facilities. During your stay We will always be available to recommend places to eat or areas of outstanding natural beauty to visit. Other things to note Dairy Cottage also has 4 holiday cottages in a separate converted barn along with a games/information room in another barn. This is shared by all guests and contains washing and drying facilities. Because this is a working farm, there will often be cows or sheep in the fields depending on the time of year. Please note we have 2 large friendly dogs, they can be kept separate from guests if required.
