Chestnut Cottage is suitable for the elderly and less mobile but is also very popular with families having a double room downstairs and twin galleried room upstairs with it's own seating area . Please contact us however regarding suitablility for your child before booking. Minimum stay 3 nights. Excellent location for a peaceful retreat yet only a mile from the A52 with easy access to Alton Towers, The Potteries, Monkey Forest, Trentham Estate, Peak District and so much more. Guest access Guests have the whole cottage to themselves and a seating area outside. There is onsite parking for one vehicle about 10 metres, and within sight of, the cottage. Additional vehicles may be parked on the opposite side of the lane. Other things to note The cottages are on a small holding with cattle and hens so some times will be busier than others. You may hear the cocks crowing at dawn if you leave the window open but generally our guests find it a peaceful retreat with such easy access to the A52 for exploring the area.
