This 3-bedroom home boasts stunning river views in a picturesque setting. Trees on all four sides make this old farmhouse feel private and secluded, even though neighbors are nearby (but not too close). Escape the city for some relaxation, and spend your weekend hiking, river tubing, rafting and kayaking. Cruise up the Hawk’s Nest to take in the boundless views of the Delaware River. Pond Eddy or Lumberland New York is in Sullivan county, located only two hours away from NYC. Port Jervis Metro North train station is twenty minutes away. Sullivan House was built in 1890 and sits on a small lot surrounded by the foliage of the woods. Enjoy a variety of outdoor lounging options including a front porch that is perfect for river gazing and rocking chair relaxing. Savor an intimate meal made with ingredients from the famer’s market on the side patio. The fire pit and gazebo are perfect for campfire conversation and marshmallow roasting, or use the picnic table and grill for barbecuing. The Sullivan House has been consciously restored. Furniture, fixtures and everything in-between has been carefully selected, upcycled, repurposed, and curated with slow, intentional living in mind. You can find some of our inspiration at the local flea market. This lower Catskills retreat is a restorative, device free environment. There is no television in the Sullivan House because we encourage IRL connection and self-care. This is the perfect place to spend time with friends, connect with nature and self reflect. Each bedroom boasts a minimal interior to promote rest and relaxation. An abundance of natural light and warm-temperature lighting creates a restorative environment. This 3 bedroom home sleeps up to 8 guests: Bedroom #1 has a queen sized bed, Bedroom #2 has two twin sized beds, and Bedroom #3 has a full sized bed. The farmhouse kitchen features open shelving, a stainless steel professional gas range, dishwasher, and a french-door refrigerator. Gather round the large table for communal style dining. Cozy up to play board games around the pellet stove in the living room. Disclaimer: this Sullivan House is over 100 years old. It has earned it’s squeaks and creaks.
