This 6 bedroom luxury home is located just minutes from the Kiawah beach access. Private pool, summer kitchen with gas grill, and spacious screened porch. Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This beautiful Kiawah vacation rental, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, features 6 bedrooms, a private pool, and a summer kitchen. The home is is a 3-minute walk from the beach. When you enter the home, to the right is a room offering leather seating, a game table, lots of shelving and TV, a bar equipped with all you'll need for preparing your favorite beverages, bar stools, glass backing and shelves behind the bar, a sink and ice maker. The kitchen is both functional and stylish. It provides seating for 6 at the table in addition to seating for 4 on bar stools as well as a small sitting area. The breakfast area leads to a screened porch and opens out to the deck. A formal dining room is perfect for entertaining a large group with seating for 12 or an intimate dinner for two. The first-floor master suite with king size bed is truly a tranquil retreat. This large open room has a sitting area, lots of windows and high ceilings. The master bath with granite counters and gorgeous wood cabinets offers a spa experience with a separate space for males including a large sink area and rain shower head and a space for females with a garden tub, dressing area and a large sink. The upstairs includes a second master suite with a king size bed and a private bath with double vanities, a lounge area with 2 pull out sofas and 2 chairs providing a wonderful sitting area to watch TV, read, or simply relax. This second master suite also has a dining table and a kitchenette with small refrigerator, sink, and coffee maker. Additional bedrooms upstairs include 2 king bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and pull out twin trundle, and a bedroom with full bed, twin bed, and pull out twin trundle. A Jack and Jill bathroom connects the bunk bedroom and full/twin bedrooms. There is a game room, complete with a large sectional sofa, TV, bar area, pool table, and ping pong table. Large, covered porches at the front and side of the home; a summer kitchen with gas grill and sink and a screened porch all provide expansive outdoor spaces where guests can enjoy wooded views, salt-scented breezes and private pool. The pool is approximately 11ft x 21ft. All teak lounge chairs on the pool deck provide a place to relax and enjoy the sun. By the deck and pool there is a bathroom with sink and on the ground level is a teak shower. The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and more. This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. However, access to resort pools is restricted to guests renting properties managed directly through the resort. The Village Market is the nearest grocery store, which is located in Freshfields Village about two miles outside the island’s main gate. A small grocery, offering the most basic necessities, is also located within Town Center Market in Kiawah’s East Beach Village. Cars must be parked in the driveway of your rental property. Parking on the grass or landscaped areas is prohibited at all times. All parking must be off-street. Public transportation is not available on the island, but you may arrange for taxi service. After making your reservation, these terms and conditions will be sent to you via email from the rental company for your reference. • Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. • Renter must be at least 25 years old. • Maximum occupancy is outlined in the listing description. • Group events, including, but not limited to, parties, weddings, receptions, and meetings, are not permitted at the rental property. • Renter is responsible for any damages and missing items caused by carelessness or negligence. • Renter must immediately notify rental company of any maintenance issues. • Pets are not permitted unless specified in the listing description along with applicable fees. Renter must obtain prior approval from rental company and pay related fees directly to rental company. • Smoking and open flames are not permitted at the rental property. Fireplaces may not be used. • Renter does not have access to resort-owned and operated pools. • All parking is limited to the number outlined in the listing description and must be off-street. • Storage of bicycles, beach gear, and other personal articles shall not be visible from the street or adjoining properties and must be placed in appropriate storage location overnight. • Noise ordinance is in effect daily from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. • Full-size vans (such as Sprinter, Transit, etc), RVs, campers, boats, trailers, jet skis, motorcycles, motorized bicycles, segways, and similar are not permitted. • Failure to comply with town rules and regulations may result in fines up to $1000 per citation and will be the responsibility of the renter to pay.
