The area is known for both its wild populations and implanted noble fish. The following species are found in the area's lakes and waterways: Perch and Pike: Available in most lakes in the area. Trout: Occurs naturally and has been reported in weights up to 1.4 kg in the area. Special protection periods apply during the autumn mating season in certain waters such as Rödtjärn and Yssjön. Grayling: Found in specific "put-and-take" waters where continuous release takes place, for example in Djupdalstjärn. Rainbow: Implanted in selected waters for sport fishing.
