Le Nid de Laly, perched at an altitude of 920 m in a green setting, located in the Ustou valley in Ariège at the foot of the Pyrenees. Rich in fauna and flora, you will enjoy beautiful hikes alone, with family or friends (Port du Marterat, Cirque de Cagateille, Cascades du Chemin d'Espagne...) as well as streams and lakes for fishing lovers. Solar panels provide energy and spring water is collected. If you're looking for a pampering moment, the Nid de Laly awaits you The space Very warm, fully renovated chalet. 40 m2 ground floor with a kitchen equipped with a 91-liter refrigerator, a gas stove, a gas kettle, a manual coffee maker, a toaster in the oven, dishes (glasses, cutlery, etc.), pots and pans. Guests can enjoy a fire in the fireplace (wood provided) while enjoying the comfort of the sofa or around a meal at the table that can accommodate 8 people. Board games and books will be available for a relaxing time with family or friends. When you return from hikes, you will appreciate the simplicity of a walk-in shower in the small bathroom with toilet. (Bath towels not provided). Upstairs, a large 40 m2 bedroom divided into 3 spaces thanks to curtains for privacy: - 1 part with 1 bed of 140 cm and 1 bunk bed with two beds of 90 cm - 1 part with 1 bed of 140 cm - 1 part with 1 bed of 140 cm Cushions and duvets provided (sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases not provided) Exterior: Large sunny terrace of 35 m2, BBQ, 2 sun loungers and dining area for 8 people, with a superb view that you can only enjoy. We guarantee a connection to nature, as far as the internet connection is concerned it will be outside the chalet… :-) Nearby (5 km) you can find the restaurant and bar Le Marterat, the grocery store, and a municipal swimming pool (in season). Our beautiful region will allow you to enjoy the Guzet Neige resort in the same valley, benefiting from a ski area in winter and various and varied activities: - Sledding (summer/winter): one of the longest in Europe - Mountain karting (summer) - Bike Park (summer) A few kilometers away: Rafting, Canoeing, Saint Girons Market and other villages, the medieval city of Saint-Lizier… Regarding pets, only 1 is accepted (please let us know). Other things to note Important: For your comfort it is important to limit the use of electricity, as it is provided only by solar panels, it is therefore restricted to simple use (avoid hair dryers, straighteners, or any energy-intensive appliances). Water is collected at the source, it is best to drink bottled water. In case of heavy snow, the road will not be fully cleared, there will be a 1 km walk to the chalet.
