Stonehill Barn

We invite you to experience our rustic American style barn nestled in the outer west leafy suburb of Brisbane, Pullenvale. This building has been handcrafted in the traditional post and beam style but with all the modern conveniences. You’ll have the upper self-contained level of the Barn to enjoy a romantic couples’ getaway in this semi-rural setting with it’s abundance of wildlife and gorgeous views, just a stone’s throw away from Brisbane CBD and Brisbane airport. The space Architecture nerds rejoice! This building packs a punch with its soaring ceilings and internal Cyprus pine post and beams constructed by mortise and tenon joints, secured by hardwood pegs. An elegant cupola soars above you as you dine. The little luxuries have been taken care of too - under floor heating in the bathroom, double glazed windows throughout, double shower heads and reverse cycle air conditioning. Guest access Enjoy your own private couples’ space - the upstairs accommodation is where you’ll stay and it has a generously proportioned bedroom with walk in robe and double ensuite with laundry facilities included, a large farmhouse kitchen with all the modern facilities , cosy living and dining complete with fireplace and smart TV and a spacious covered deck where you can BBQ, enjoy a wine or relax with a book. Please note, your booking is for the upstairs area only. Other things to note We are happy to accommodate special requests, if at all possible. Guests should note that the accommodation is for two people only, and that while we are happy with friends or family visiting for a small get-together (no more than 4 guests) for a meal or drinks, the accommodation is not available for parties. We appreciate being notified of extra guests so that we are aware of who is on our property. Also, the downstairs area in the Barn is separate and is not included in the booking.
