Cosy Rooms in a Gorgeous Traditional Naxian House

Description

Book 1-3 rooms or whole house, offering you a spacious, bright, cool & serene village house with foundations from 17th Century. 15 minutes from Moutsouna Bay & the fantastic wild beaches of the East coast, the village of Apeiranthos is known as the 'Jewel of the Cyclades' & is famous for its great tavernas, local gastronomy, friendly people, music, fun atmosphere & many well marked hiking routes. It's a hiker’s dream. The view from the roof over the valley, mountains & to the sea is spectacular The space Even if you only book one room, you ‘might’ have the whole house to yourself during your stay, depending on the dates. In the meantime, take your morning coffee on the roof and gaze at the moon and the stars at night. You can also do some yoga on the roof (yoga mats supplied) and enjoy the view over the valley and to the sea, over breakfast! Please let me know if you require 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. If it is 3 bedrooms, then you will be renting the whole house. The house is very traditional and the foundations date back to C17th century. It is very cozy and the stone and marble walls are very thick, so it keeps nice and cool during the summer months & warm in the winter.. The house offers 115m2 of fully furnished and equipped accommodation, plus a 65m2 roof terrace with spectacular views over Apeiranthos, the valley, Zas Mountain and south-west to the sea towards Moutsouna Bay (which is a 15 minute drive with incredible views & many wild beaches); go and have lunch or dinner there at the fish taverna and explore the small beaches up the coastal road! When you open the shutters, the light comes pouring in. The house comes fully furnished and equipped, so you don't need to bring anything. All mattresses and pillows are brand new and the linen is all cotton. The wooden floors, original tiles and high ceilings make for a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. If you play classical guitar, then the acoustics here are magnificent. There is a Spanish guitar here for your use, professional snorkelling equipment and an olive wood chess board hand made in Athens, at your disposal. The house is located at the other end of the pedestrianised part of the village (the less noisy part), which is about 2 minutes walk from the main car park and church Guest access Whether you are renting 1, 2, or all 3 bedrooms (and therefore the whole house), you will have full access to all parts of the house, including the large roof terrace. When you stay at Ariadne's Rooms, it is 'your' house during your stay! During your stay I will either be available during your stay, or at least nearby, in case there is anything you need. There may also be another guest during peak season. I may also be available with the car, in case you want to visit the Moutsouna coastline, which I go down to regularly. There are many small & wild beaches, some secluded and they are incredible! The water is crystal clear. It’s best to have a car on Naxos; it’s a big island..
