Located on the tranquil Northside of Caye Caulker, Cheerful Beachfront Cabana offers a true island-living experience with beautiful Caribbean Sea views right from your front porch. This beachfront one-bedroom cabana comfortably sleeps 2 to 3 guests with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. The space features a private full bathroom with hot and cold water, and a fully equipped kitchen for guests who wish to enjoy home-cooked meals. Step outside onto the large deck, furnished with hammocks, a dining table, and chairs—perfect for unwinding, bird watching, or simply enjoying the cool trade winds that naturally keep the cabana breezy and comfortable. No air conditioning is needed, thanks to the thoughtful design with plenty of windows for natural ventilation. Guests also have access to their own private beachfront area with a shaded pergola, ideal for relaxing and soaking up the sea breeze. Please note: Swimming is not recommended directly in front of the property, but some of the island’s best swimming spots—like Koko King Beach and The Split—are just a short distance away. To help you explore both the North and South sides of the island, we provide two complimentary bikes for your use. Getting to the Northside: When you arrive on Caye Caulker (whether by water taxi or small plane), simply take a short taxi ride to the famous Split. From there, three local ferry services run continuously, providing a quick 2-minute ride across the channel, followed by a 5-minute walk to the property. Ferry cost: $2.50 USD per person, each way Operating hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (extended hours during busy seasons) A convenient grocery store is located just 3 minutes away for any essentials. We look forward to hosting you for an unforgettable stay! Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire property. This includes the private beachfront cabana, the spacious yard, the large deck with hammocks and outdoor dining area, and the beachfront area with a shaded pergola and sun loungers. There are no other cabanas or guests on the property—you will have the entire space to yourself for complete privacy and relaxation. Guests also have access to the fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with hot and cold shower, and two complimentary bikes for exploring both the Northside and Southside of the island. We do not offer self-check-in. We personally meet all guests at the property upon arrival to ensure a warm welcome and to answer any questions you may have. Other things to note Arrival Time Required: Since we do not have an office at the property, it’s very important that you provide us with your estimated arrival time in advance. Without notice, we won’t know when to expect you, and we won’t be able to meet you for check-in. No Self Check-In: We personally meet all guests at the property upon arrival to hand over the keys, give a brief tour, and answer any questions you may have. Getting to the Northside: Access to the Northside is by a short 2-minute ferry ride from the Split, followed by a 5-minute walk to the property. Look for the first purple house on the right-hand side of the street. Ferry service runs daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM (extended hours during busy seasons). The cost is $2.50 USD per person each way. Cooling & Comfort: The cabana was designed to embrace natural island living. With plenty of windows and cooling sea breezes, there’s no need for air conditioning. Private Space: The entire cabana and beachfront yard are completely private—you won’t be sharing with any other guests. Grocery Store Nearby: A small convenience store is just a 3-minute walk from the property for your basic needs. Swimming: Direct beachfront is great for relaxing but not suitable for swimming. For safe and fun swimming, we recommend Koko King Beach (just across the channel) or The Split on the Southside.
