Bright and Minimalist Home!

Stay in a sunny, cozy and colorful home, with a minimalist design concept and plenty of plants all within walking distance to Bug Light and Willard Beach. Home has easy access (by car, bike or bus) to all the amazing restaurants, coffee shops (including Second Rodeo, two doors down from our home) and beaches of the Portland area. We have a driveway for your use! This is our home, but we will be away during your stay. The space This is a light-filled, minimalist home in Ferry Village. The living room, which faces the street on the first floor, offers cozy seating in a midcentury-meets-New England style. There are games in the guest room, Netflix on the TV and great lighting for reading or just relaxing. The kitchen is well-appointed for any cook but works just as well for heating up take-out or leftovers from all the great area restaurants. Eat at the oversized butcher block island, in the dining nook, or on the deck off of the kitchen. The first floor also has a small 1/2 bath and laundry facilities. There are wood floors throughout the house. The guest bedroom faces the backyard. The front bedroom is NOT part of the rental and will be locked during your stay. This is where we live, so our personal stuff is around, but we hope it makes it more comfortable for you. Feel free to drink the coffee and avail yourself of spices and food items that you find in the cupboard. Welcome to South Portland! Guest access First floor all access Second Floor - Only back bedroom Parking - Driveway has space for two cars. There is plenty of street parking but please be aware that there is a winter parking ban Dec 1-April 1 which restricts overnight parking. Outside Guests - No events or parties are allowed; no extra guest(s) should be sleeping on the couch, or any other part of the property Other things to note This is a perfect rental for couples and single occupants. We only rent to individuals who are using the one bedroom. This is an old house, that has settled A LOT over the years, so many of the floors are uneven and can take getting used to! The only air conditioner is downstairs in the kitchen, there is no air conditioning in the bedroom or upstairs.
