Built in the 1950’s, old construction was better in Mexico City, it has survived the two big earthquakes (‘85 and ‘17) without a scratch. The area , and the road itself, are of historical importance and as such very safe. Central area, colonia Juárez is between downtown and colonia roma, making it a great spot from which to base your trip. You’ll be able to walk around freely and safely, to the many fantastic cafes, museums, bars and eateries all within a 1k radius.
