Cabin in Arkadelphia

Unwind and soak up the natural beauty at our charming riverfront cabin, your perfect escape from the daily grind. Perched along a quiet stretch of the Ouachita River, this rustic cabin offers peace you won’t find in the city. Wake up to the sound of the flowing water and sip coffee on the covered deck with river views. Spend your days kayaking, casting a line from the bank, or simply lounging by the water in the private swimming area. The stars shine brighter out here and so will you. The space Riverfront and peaceful but still close to all of your basic needs(grocery stores, gas stations, and dining). The cabin is a two bedroom, one full bath with a fully equipped kitchen and living room. You will also have access to an additional 500 sf building connected by deck next door. This building offers a half bath and extra space for eating, games, lounging, and a futon mattress. There is an outdoor shower connected to this building making it easy to rinse off after a long day at the river. There is a play area for the kids (swings and seesaw) and private access to a perfect swimming area right on the Ouachita River. This swimming area is also great as a launching or landing spot for kayaking or floating, which makes it super convenient for a float trip, but you’ll need to bring your own kayaks/floats. Also keep in mind that since there’s no shuttle service on this part of the river, you’ll need to either: • Bring two vehicles (one to leave at your take-out or put-in spot), or • Arrange for someone to drop you off or pick you up. If you’re looking for a more turnkey option, the Caddo River is a great choice! There are several outfitters in the area who will shuttle you and your group, and many offer kayak, canoe, or tube rentals. Just be sure to check the river levels before you go — the Caddo can get too low or too high to float. It’s a gorgeous stretch of both rivers and totally worth the effort — just plan ahead! Guest access Key entry. You will have access to cabin and connected building, outdoor shower, along with full access to private swimming area and kids play area. We only prepare bedding in the connected building if there are more than 4 guests so please have correct amount of guests added on your reservation. Gravel road leading to the cabin; AWD recommended in wet weather. Other things to note -If you launch from or land at cabin, you will need your own floats/kayaks. -If you float the Caddo, they offer float rentals, shuttles, etc. (call ahead to make sure the Caddo River levels are okay) -This property is on well water, we recommend bringing your own drinking water. -Septic system so please dispose of toiletries and wipes in provided trash can. -15 minute drive from town on a dirt road; AWD recommended in wet weather. -We only prepare bedding in the connected building if there are more than 4 guests so please have correct amount of guests added on your reservation. -Paper products provided (toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags). -Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash provided. -Coffee and cooking essentials (oil and spices) provided. -No washer/dryer on site. -No boat launch
