This traditional Welsh blacksmith’s cottage has been lovingly restored to provide all the comforts of home. A picture-perfect house located in the centre of Edern within walking distance of the beach, pubs, restaurants and village shop. Perfect for families or friends sharing. If you enjoy the outdoors lifestyle, this house is perfectly located for the Wales Coast Path and water sports off the local beaches of Morfa Nefyn and Porthdinllaen. The famous Ty Coch beach bar is within walking distance The space This ancient cottage has been carefully restored to retain traditional features, whilst still providing all the comforts of a more modern home. The house is compact, but spacious enough to accommodate a small family or friends sharing. As you enter the front door, the space is semi-open plan. The sitting room can be found to the left which has comfortable seating for 5 people and a smart TV. A leather sofa unfolds into an extra bed. Also in the sitting room is a log-burner including a starter pack of logs, perfect for those colder evenings. There is a cupboard under the stairs containing a small ironing board, cleaning equipment and an electric clothes airer. From the sitting room, there is a door leading to the back garden. To the right of the front door is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and has a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There are a variety of electrical items such as an iron, toaster, kettle, microwave oven and slow-cooker. The dining area has a dining table to seat 5 people. From the sitting room, you enter the back garden, which is furnished with a variety of outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. The garden is dog friendly and enclosed by fences and walls. Back inside the house and up the stairs, leads to the shower room with a spacious shower enclosure housing a rainfall shower head accompanied by a powerful hand shower. The master bedroom can be found beyond the shower room, to the left. The master bedroom benefits from a comfortable king-size bed and occasional small single chair-bed, perfect for a young child. It has a smart TV, hairdryer, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and hanging rail with hangers. It has a modern, but traditional feel with its exposed beams. The second bedroom has two full-size single beds, smart TV, bedside table, chest of drawers, hairdryer and hooks with hangers for clothes. This room also has exposed beams. *Please note that the stairs are steep and therefore the cottage may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.* Guest access The house is situated in the centre of a popular village close to the sea. Parking is at a premium in the village, but the house benefits from a large private parking area to the front, big enough for 2 large cars. You gain access to the house from the parking area. Other things to note The garden borders on farm land with occasional livestock. It has an enclosed rear garden. Dogs allowed - no other pets allowed. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the cottage.
