Small Guest House HEEMSTEDE/HAARLEM (&Bikes)

This small Garden house in the friendly city of Heemstede is the perfect romantic small house for a single person or couple. The house was build as a shoe repairers shop in 1923, but now a small guest house with a small kitchenette, bathroom (shower) small living room and a small double bed (140cm) at the first floor. The house has its own entrance and is totally independent. The house is located near a busstop with direct connection to Haarlem, Schiphol airport and Amsterdam. The space Small living room with kitchenette. TV, Wifi and the use of 2 bicycles are included. The stairs to the first floor is a "dutch" ladder so a narrow steep staircase. So far no complaints but just so you are prepared. Please read the reviews to get an idea. It is small but everything you might need is there. Price compared to Amsterdam is competitive and most guests prefer the calm of our village to the noisy city of Amsterdam in combination of the great public transport to Amsterdam and the beautiful options of Zandvoort (beach), Heemstede and Haarlem nearby. Guest access The whole house is yours! We only share the backroom occassionaly where the fridge and washing machine are located; we only enter this room to use the washing machine which could happen as we like things to stay fresh : ) or get something from the freezer. We do not need to disturb you for this because there is a seperate door at the back of the house. So you’ll probably not notice we used the fridge ; ) Other things to note During weekdays daytime I am at work but that does not mean I can not help you. If we are not around our neighbours are very friendly and will be of help to you! The house is NON SMOKING and NO DRUGS! This is a family friendly neighbourhood and therefore forbidden to use drugs in the house or garden. Normally the area is very calm but i do need to mention that there are kids living nextdoor and when the weather is nice they might play outside and make some noise 😉 this is a living community not a retirement area 🥳😂
