The Lodge at Wentedge

The perfect space to relax after a day of walking and exploring Brockerdale Nature Reserve. We offer a secure place for cyclists to keep their bikes overnight. Our quaint and beautifully styled apartment is ideally located for wedding guests from nearby Wentbridge House Hotel and Rogerthorpe Manor. We are perfectly situated for a half way stop over when travelling between the south of England and Scotland, 5 minutes from the A1. The space Electric gates leading to a secure parking spot. A generous, private and enclosed garden with table and benches for outside dining. The kitchenette is a compact and functional space, oven, 4 ring halogen hob, microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster. The bathroom, also on the ground floor has a large shower, soft, fluffy towels and a basket of essential toiletries should you forget something. An open staircase from the kitchenette leads up to a spacious open plan lounge and elegant bedroom with a room divider offering some privacy. Velux windows are fitted with blinds. There is a desk and office chair should you need to work during your stay. The French, king sized bed and luxury bedding promises a comfortable nights sleep. Storage for clothes and bags is ample. You will find a selection of magazines, travel books, easy reading novels and board games for your enjoyment throughout your stay. The apartment has Wi-Fi and a smart tv. Guest access Guests are given a key fob so that they can access the electric gates and come come and go as they please. The garden at the front of the property is for guest use. Guests will also have space to park one car. If an additional parking space is required, please request this upon booking and we will try our best to accommodate. Other things to note We live on the premises but our house is separate and private from the apartment. The driveway and parking is shared but ample. We have a beautiful, very friendly cocker spaniel called Rosie, who would love to make friends.
