Welcome to Rockopelli in Moab! Located on the South end of Moab, 17 minutes away from Arches. Minutes from downtown. Biking, jeeping, river rafting, and all the adventures Moab has to offer with all the comforts of home. The house is kid-friendly, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. The perfect place for your family to stay during your Moab adventure. Bikes welcome and so are your dogs. Seven minutes south of downtown, and as one guest review put it, "the location puts you close to everything but far enough out that you can’t count the stars in the sky." Moab has dark sky ordinances that help keep lighting from obstructing this magnificent view. A planisphere (star finder) is available inside the house. Located in a brand new phase called Rim Village Vistas, the community offers two pools (generally open April through October), a hot tub (closed Jan 1 - Feb 11, 2021), basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and pavilion, all for guests to enjoy. Pool towels, two tennis racquets, and a basketball are provided in the house for guest use. Neighboring the house to the North is the Old Spanish Valley Arena, a county park, with baseball fields and pickleball courts which holds the occasional organized event. Families and individuals may use the arena grounds for wholesome activities. The house is about 7-8 minutes South of downtown by car. RVs and cars towing trailers can generally be parked within 100 yards without difficulty. All major cell-phone carriers have reception in Moab and at the house. Many of the canyons in the area will have no coverage at all, but some Map apps have offline options. Arches National Park can be spotty for service, and Canyonlands even less. The house is about 17 minutes from the Arches National Park entrance and 45 minutes to Canyonlands.
