You're guaranteed to feel like you've been transported to another era, and it's so romantic! The space At the same time, a military fortress in the 13th century, a stately residence in the 18th, and a hunting lodge in the 19th, the Château de Bouillancourt takes you on a journey through time where past, present, and future juxtapose and meet. A journey through time but also through the multiple spaces of the place. We invite you to experience a new form of occupation of a heritage site in the 21st century. Sometimes a castle-hotel, sometimes a castle-museum, we think that a third way is possible, that of the castle-experience, a resource place for the territory and its inhabitants in which you will also have your place and your role. We're talking about memorable moments, time travel, what reality will it take? Simply an invitation to take possession of a castle with a captivating contemporary history: at the same time imbued with signs of the past, such as this staircase that has preserved its hunting trophies or the living room in the Louis XV style... our proposal is to let you experience the new functions of the castle for a few days in parallel with your own stay: a vegetable garden that experiments with permaculture, farm buildings that house a participatory grocery store, artist residences that take possession of the Fruitier, etc. While the first rays of the sun bounce off the large 19th-century terrace, the bedrooms, dining room and kitchen are heated by a wood-burning stove. Very chilly, refrain! For others, this wood-burning stove will make your evenings happy. With friends or family, your unusual presence in this third-place heritage site is a form of financial support for the restoration of this heritage site. The funds raised through the accommodation make it possible to continue the renovation of the castle but also to develop the associative ecosystem of the third place. Welcome to Bouillancourt, a place of possibilities and heritage innovation. Guest access The large green living room is accessible to all; you can read, work, or relax around the large fireplace. At Le Fruitier, the château's community café will be delighted to welcome you from Wednesday to Friday evening. You might be lucky enough to catch a concert, explore an exhibition, or attend a show there! Take advantage of the opening of the château's participatory grocery store, which showcases local artisans and producers. The castle is located in the middle of a large 6-hectare park. Beautiful walk in the large lane of lime trees dating from the 17th century. Enjoy the large terrace on sunny days. Other things to note Château de Bouillancourt is an unusual place to stay because it combines the grandeur, decor, and spaces of another era with a certain sobriety and simplicity in its layout. In winter, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the wood crackling in the stove, but don't forget to put some more logs in so you don't get cold. While each bedroom has its own bathroom, the toilet is shared on the landing. A real choice of authenticity, but also of modesty, in the recent renovation work.
