Spacious ensuite guest annexe with kitchenette.

A spacious en-suite double bedroom with a kitchenette, it’s own entrance and free off street parking. Situated in the charming village of Coton, conveniently located about 3 miles west of Cambridge and surrounded by countryside. The village Gastro pub, The Plough, and Coton Garden Centre - which has a café, farm shop and Post Office - are within easy walking distance. Also the nearby Park and Ride bus (located a 5 min drive from Coton) can take you in to central Cambridge in a matter of minutes. The space The spacious and comfortable guest room is situated in an annexe of the main house and is accessed through the side alley of the house. It has it's own entrance for guests to come and go as they please. The guest suite comprises a high beamed double bedroom with a private shower room and toilet (separated by a lockable door from the rest of the owners house, providing security and privacy). The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, clothes storage, hangers, desk, WiFi, TV and armchairs. Situated just inside the entrance door of the annex is a kitchenette, with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan, air fryer, crockery and cutlery. There is also a sink and drainer for washing up if needed. (The kitchenette is predominantly for the private use of guests, however owners may occasionally share this space to use washing machine and tumble drier, however, we generally try to avoid times when guests are in). Guest access The guest suite is accessed through the annexe side door which brings you in to the kitchenette/utility room. Once through the kitchenette a lockable door to the left brings you into the guest suite and once through this door, immediately to the left, is the shower room and toilet and straight on brings you into the large bedroom. Other things to note Please note The kitchenette is for the private use of guests, but hosts may occasionally access this space to use the washing machine and tumble drier. However, we will limit our use of this area when guests are staying. This is a self catering guest suite and breakfast is not provided, however you will find complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and some milk in the fridge. The guest room looks out onto hosts garden and pond. We may occasionally be in the garden, however, there are net curtains as well as curtains to provide you with privacy. (Recently 28/04/25 the neighbours have put up some scaffolding to insulate their roof which is visible from guest suite but will only be very short term) Please be aware that whilst there is no room directly above the guest bedroom, which makes it a very quiet space, there is an upstairs bathroom above the guest bathroom/kitchenette, so there may be some occasional noise from this. You may also, at times, hear some general household noise from our kitchen. We occasionally have a puppy to stay who is training to be an assistance dog and you may see or hear it. However, we will keep it away from guest areas.
