The space A relaxing trip away awaits you. Unwind at our farm say; based on a peaceful cattle farm which is located in the idilic village of Scaldwell. You will have exclusive use of the site. Including use of the hut advertised, a large hot tub, and the cozy indoor fire pit; perfect for cooking on and toasting marshmallows. There is also an outdoor fire pit, BBQ and patio area for those warmer evenings. Your stay includes a Shepards hut which has its own kitchenette, shower, toilet and king size bed. The day bed pulls out into a double bed too, meaning this hut can sleep up to 4 guests (additional hut available for extra guests if required. See below.) The sleeping area has a wardrobe with storage. The kitchenette features a gas stove, fridge and kettle. All utensils, bedding and towels are provided. The hut is set in a 10 acre field where you will often see the resident cows and horses grazing and playing. They’re a curious bunch, and like to pop their heads over the fence to say hello. The grass space provides enough room to play football or rounders. However, you’re welcome to use the field for any games. Or if you fancy a walk. The site does have other Shepards hut which are rented out over the weekends to larger groups. Please note these will not be occupied when booked on this listing and you will have exclusive use of the site (the other huts will be locked) If there are 4 of you and you would prefer to hire an extra hut if you are staying as couples / would like extra space, this can be arranged for an additional fee. There is also a large kitchen with log burner which can be hired if required for an extra fee. However, this is usually kept locked for our weekend bookings of larger groups.
