The Concrete Hut--A 1954 mid-century modern studio house about 5 blocks east of the IU campus: This home, which was built by Charles Miller, the longtime Instrument Maker for the Department of Geology at the university, was clearly inspired by the Usonian philosophy of Frank Lloyd Wright. It features a bank of windows along the back wall with an overhanging roof. Bath and kitchen have been updated to modern standards. There is a king size bed and a full size pull-out sofa.
