Malt House Cottage is a detached two bedroomed retreat full of character. It's riverside position makes it very peaceful and it is only a 5 min walk from the pretty town of Upton-upon Severn. Accommodation is split over first and second floors, two big bedrooms, two shower rooms, 1 with a bath, an open plan kitchen / dining / living room (with sofa bed) and large balcony overlooking the River Severn. Private courtyard with plants and parking for 3 cars. The space We took ownership of this cottage in 2022 which has been successfully let via Airbnb for a number of years. We have updated, upgraded, redecorated and added more amenities. Kitchen has oven, hob, Fridge/ Freezer, microwave, dishwasher, espresso coffee machine, oven, toaster, kettle. 1st floor bedroom is a king-sized bed with a bathroom with bath and shower opposite across the hall. There is a dressing table, wardrobe, mirrors, a fan and bedside tables. 2nd floor bedroom is a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is a full-length mirror and hanging space. It also has a large desk with lamp, fan and power so ideal for working if required. The large balcony with seating for six people is loved by guests. Views of pleasure craft, rowing boats, birds including Swans, Kingfishers, Herons and Cormorants and people fishing combine to create feelings of peace and connection to nature. Guest access Guests have private access to 1st and 2nd floors of this property and private use of the large courtyard / driveway The ground floor is a private storage and utility area. Other things to note Kindly note that this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues as the accommodation is accessed via a flight of stairs to first floor and second narrower flight of stairs to second floor. It is a bit of a squeeze for 3 couples as no storage space in the lounge. The sofabed is perfect for families. There is dining for 4 people inside and only dining for 6 on the balcony. Dogs are welcome in the living room.
