Welcoming townhome, centrally located for the perfect visit in Smithville. Walk just a few blocks to charming downtown, or just two doors down to Heritage Park Playground (walking trail network too). Less than two miles from the Lake itself. Enjoy your morning coffee on the shaded deck overlooking the Little Platte River. Spacious side yard. Fiber internet. Smithville is the unsung lake gem just north of Kansas City. It is the perfect place to SLOW DOWN and enjoy! Full kitchen, dining area, laundry, garage, and all amenities needed for a great stay. Back deck overlooks River. Full hall bath upstairs with powder room on first floor. Comfortably sleeps seven upstairs, plus Pack-n-Play available. Closets in each bedroom: walk-in closet in primary bedroom doubles as guest closet use and owner’s inventory storage. We live nearby, and my wife or I are usually available during normal business hours and most Saturdays, or Sunday afternoons. Take it easy in Smithville! Walk a few blocks to downtown to get ice cream or coffee at the small businesses around the square. Pop in a consignment shop, bike shop, or farmer’s market while you’re there to enjoy the small town atmosphere, restaurants, and shopping. Smithville is an active community that hosts a variety of downtown festivals and events, and there is often something going on. Heritage Park (between the townhome and downtown) has a great trail system for all sorts of exercise, ball fields, and a great playground for the kids. Access parking and playground just around the corner at the crosswalk. The walk is less than five minutes. Downtown Smithville is a short 5-10 min walk, but has free public parking lots and street parking if you’d rather drive (may be full during parades, Lake Festival, etc). Keep driving on Main in the opposite direction from downtown and you’ll be at the Lake in less than two miles (Near Smith’s Fork, Visitors Center, and dam). 5 miles to Paradise Pointe Marina and 6.5 miles yto Boat Ramp. Price Chopper grocery, Ace hardware, lots of fast food options, and even fine dining, all within five minutes along 169 Highway. KCI International Airport is 15-20 minutes away. Charcoal kettle grill available on back patio: BYO briquettes and grilling supplies. Roku TVs in living room and primary bedroom: BYO streaming passwords to access Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, or any major platform via guest mode.
