Great Views and Convenience at Lake Ray Roberts

Enjoy the spectacular sun and moon rise over the lake, the quiet serenity of open ranch land or take a tour of North Texas horse country. Heck, bring your own horse to ride the state park trails! Adjoining Lake Ray Roberts so you can walk down to the fishing and Public Hunting Land. 10 minutes to the marina, 15 to Isle du Bois State Park and 20 to the beautiful Denton Square, UNT and TWU. Just miles away from many wedding venues and 30 mins to Winstar Casino. The space The house sits on a hill and there are great views throughout. Even the garage has a picture window out to the lake! The house has been renovated but we tried to maintain the feel of the original era with some of the original outfitting. There is no dishwasher or disposal because the house runs on a traditional septic system. There is a king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a bunk room with two twin over full bunk beds. There is also a pullout sofa in the family room. The property is not a party house but intended for standard accommodations. There's lots of space for a truck and boat or horse trailer, if approved. We also have a 20' x 30' paneled and fenced pen that you can use (at your own risk) as a horse corral or to allow a larger dog to spend time outside. Please note horse and dog fee is $40/animal and must be approved in advance. See House Rules. The house is at the end of the road that ends at the lake. While there is very little traffic, it is not exclusive and people fish, hunt, hike and drive to the end of the road. We're only minutes from the Isle du Bois state park and horse trails. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE OUR RATES INCLUDE A 2% DENTON COUNTY HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX SEPARATE FROM THE TAX COLLECTED BY AIRBNB. Windmill Hill is across the road from our home. This is a working ranch and we are generally at home working around the properties. We have 2 friendly dogs that run freely on the property. They are neutered, fully vaccinated, and always excited to meet new guests and play with friends, so they're very friendly. They will surely find their way to you, especially Willie. Please don't let them in the house or feed them. If they become a nuisance, please send us a note. We like to meet our guests upon arrival to ensure they are familiar with the house systems and get settled in comfortably. Please let us know if you will be arriving outside the check-in window. Some areas of the property are not available to guests without our prior approval and/or only with us. These include the pastures and barns. We are pretty accommodating if rules are followed. Please be sure to read and be accepting of the complete list of house rules especially for pets, extra guests and allowed activities. Pets (dogs only) and horses are charged at $40/animal.
