Terre di Lula is located within the Madonie Natural Park at about 1000 metres above sea level. The space The old stone house, restored in harmony with the surrounding environment, is located in the centre of a 2-hectare wood mainly planted with hazelnut trees. Thanks to the generosity of nature, the passionate care of the owners and the favourable climate there are also many varieties of trees and plants of all kinds and species: fruit trees, including cherry, apricot, walnut, chestnut, mulberry, apple, pear, strawberry trees, peach trees, plum trees, olive trees, prickly pears; ornamental trees including laurels, cypresses, firs; numerous medicinal herbs, aromatic plants, spices and flowers of all kinds, among which roses, hydrangeas and dahlias stand out. The house which was once used as a shelter for animals and tools and partially inhabited in the summer by local farmers, has now been transformed into a refined, intimate and welcoming refuge. Going beyond the small entrance door there is the living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a wonderful window overlooking the garden under which there is a large cushion where you can lie down and admire the woods. The living room leads to the large typical Sicilian kitchen, the real jewel of the house, equipped with a large refrigerator, gas machine and Smeg dishwasher. The kitchen is very spacious and equipped with a central table perfect for cooking in company and harmony. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with an old work table with seating for 6. From the large window while having lunch you can enjoy a bucolic view of the valley and the peaks of the Madonie mountains. Here your gaze is lost towards infinity and you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets that will remain forever in your heart. From the living room through a hallway, a door leads to a passage room where there is a sofa that converts into a comfortable double bed. Adjacent to this room is a bathroom with a large shower. On the same level on the left there is access to the first double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with large shower. Going up the stone stairs to the mezzanine floor are two large double bedrooms with large corner windows that open completely onto a secluded area of ​​the garden. The fixtures are equipped inside the glass with electric shutters to filter the sunlight, blackout curtains and retractable mosquito nets. The first bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the second bedroom is a bathroom with shower. The walls of the bathrooms are covered with fine hand-painted Sicilian majolica. Continuing to climb the stone stairs from the inside, you reach the first floor where there is a bedroom with a queen-size bed. This room also has a large window with a view of the forest and a French door that opens onto the terrace with a view of the valley. All rooms in the house are equipped with air conditioning and gas heating. Outside, a few metres from the house, there is an outbuilding used as a laundry room with a washer/dryer, a sink and a fridge. Other things to note - From March 29, 2025, a detached stone house near the pool surrounded by a large courtyard overlooking the valley, the village and the large pool will be available for guests. The house consists of two large suites and a spacious bathroom with shower. In one of the two suites there is a corner with a coffee machine and a small sink. The price of this annex will be published in the coming months. - The pool will be closed from October 1st to April 30th. If guests wish to use it outside of this period, there is a cost of 500 euros for the opening, which must be requested at least 10 days before the arrival date. Pool heating can be requested from April 1 to October 28. The pool heating temperature varies depending on the outside temperature of the period. Given the size of the pool, the water temperature cannot exceed 24/25°. The pool is covered with a thermal towel in the evening and reopened the next morning.
