Come & stay in our spacious retreat, nestled at the heart of the Welsh valleys, ideally situated between mountain & sea. Many reasons to choose our home to make the most of South Wales: 1) Hirwaun village (5min stroll), 2) Brecon Beacons National Park, Zip World Tower or Penderyn distillary (5min drive) 3) Aberdare Park, site of the Road Races, Bike Park Wales in Merthyr Tidfil or Dan Yr Ogof Caves (15min drive) 4) Swansea & the Gower peninsula beaches, or the capital Cardiff (45min drive). The space We can comfortably accommodate up to eight adults and one baby. You will be able to park motorbikes and pushbikes in our lockable garage as well as three or four cars on the drive. You will love the mountain views from garden and bedroom windows. In the winter you'll gather around the fireplace after cooking a feast in our spacious kitchen. There will be a choice to eat either in the kitchen or in the dining-room. In the summer you will relish relaxing or sharing a barbecue in our sun-soaked walled garden. Guest access Our property is less than 500m from the A465 Heads of the Valleys road, even though you will not see or hear the traffic from our lovely garden. You will get quiet and accessibility combined. Other things to note We are pet- friendly, however we do ask that you respect the house and wipe down any muddy paws. Please keep your four-legged friend downstairs (we provide a foldable barrier for that purpose) and ensure all animal waste is done outside, collected and disposed of. We also kindly request that you do not wear shoes upstairs.
