Complete with a dedicated workspace, living room and Netflix enabled smart TV. The Oak Flat is the ideal spot for a small group or family to call home when in Lagos. If you fancy some alone time, head down to our resident’s lounge where you can read a book, study quietly or take advantage of the mango tree in the garden and relax in the shade. Guest access Guests in the Oak Flat have access to all the common areas at BDG Homes, which include the lobbies, reception, residents lounge, outdoor space and building laundry room (shared with other guests) Other things to note ✨ Airport Pick-ups & Travel Around Lagos ✨ We’ll be happy to make your arrival and movements around Lagos smoother with our airport pick-up and in-city travel service (subject to vehicle availability). 🚘✈️ Since prices in Nigeria can change with the economy, we share our current rates on request to ensure you always get the most accurate and fair cost. Simply send us a message, and we’ll be glad to assist. 💛 ⚡Power Supply – What to Expect We know how important reliable power is for a comfortable stay, and we’ve made it a priority to ensure you always have electricity. ✅ 1. Public Utility Power (EKEDC – Main Power Source) This is the primary electricity supply for the building. Whenever it’s available, all appliances work as normal. ✅ 2. Inverter Backup (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) If public power goes off during the day, our inverter automatically takes over immediately. ✔️ What works? Lights, fans, and charging ports. ⚠️ What doesn’t work? A/Cs, water heaters, kitchen sockets, and heavy appliances such as microwaves, blenders, or irons. ✅ 3. Generator Backup (6:00 PM – 9:00 AM) If public power goes off in the evening or overnight, our maintenance and security staff switch on the generator almost immediately. ✔️ What works? Everything — lights, fans, A/Cs, water heaters, and all kitchen appliances. ⚠️ Important Note: Please don’t plug in heavy appliances (like irons or microwaves) while the inverter is on — it will trip power for the entire building.
